Animals, Land, and a Dash of Brains

Laura Davis is the founder and owner of LJ Livestock, a woman-owned agricultural operation established in 2025 in Fort Collins,   Colorado. Driven by a deep passion for sustainable farming and hands-on animal care, Laura built LJ Livestock from the ground up at only 21 years of age, turning determination, grit, and vision into a thriving and purpose-driven livestock operation. With a clear focus on quality, transparency, and responsible livestock management.

At LJ Livestock, Laura raises a diverse range of animals—including chickens, ducks, goats, and cattle—providing her community with fresh, locally produced food, from farm-fresh eggs to high-quality meats, as well as other agricultural products. Her approach is rooted in ethical husbandry, attentive daily care, and an unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of every animal on the farm.

As a woman in agriculture, Laura is proud to be part of the growing movement of female-led farms and ranches, blending time-honored practices with a forward-thinking mindset. Through LJ Livestock, she is dedicated to building a trusted, community-centered operation that reflects hard work, integrity, and a deep respect for both the land and the livestock she stewards.
